looking for global and national poker stats.

Guys-

I am working on an article and I need a bit of help. So far I have had no such luck. I would like to know such stats on how many global and national (US) poker players there are. What is the split between B&M and online players? At what rate is this growing at etc? Can anyone help or lead me to creditable data and any other usefull info?
