2-7 TDL low low padooki chop
TDL Padooki
We recently added an interesting game to our dealer calls home game - TDL low low padooki chop. 2-7 lowball takes half the pot. The other half goes to the worst padooki if any qualify. To qualify for a padooki, you have to have 4 cards of different suits. The lowest padooki (and a guaranteed freeroll) is 2345. Any non-paired padooki beats a paired padooki, pair beats trips, trips beat quads. For example, 23457 all spades with one heart would take half the pot against AAAA9 HU. It is a fantastic game that generates tons of action and huge pots, especially on the weeks we are playing PL. The problem is we have a rule for games that can be called. The game must have been spread in a casino somewhere. I _heard_ that this game has been spread in England, and has been introduced to the big (1000-2000 and up) game in Vegas. Has anybody else heard of this game or played it? If so, are we playing it correctly? We can do strategy in another thread if there is any interest. |

Re: 2-7 TDL low low padooki chop
*bump*
39 views and nobody knows a thing? Ha! Like I thought ... this game is a goldmine and nobody wants their secrets getting out ... Anyway, here is one reference I found. I had a few other hits on google the other day but I can't seem to duplicate those search results. Does anybody have anything else, even rumors, on this game? http://www.gamblingproplus.com/poker...021381825.html |

Re: 2-7 TDL low low padooki chop
I see you referenced my post from a year ago on RGP. Yes, it was a fun game, but that was the last time I have played it. I'll probably play it again at this years Escargot in a couple of weeks. I don't have much to add, you seem to have the rules right. Don |
