Help me use my brain.
I'm bored.
I work fulltime, have a wife with 2 kids, yada, yada, yada. I got my MBA a little over 2 years ago. I used to love going to class, working on group projects, meeting new people and basically, stimulating my brain. Work provides some stimulation, as does playing poker (sorry about the poker content), but I think I am at the point where I want/need more. I am in a rut. What can I do to get my blood pumping again? I'm not opposed more schooling (though my wife may be), even if it was just a class here and there. I enjoy playing games (board, card, bar) and am fiercely competitive. I don't think a book club is really my style. What can I do other than read 2+2? Suggestions? |

If you are anywhere near a body of water, sailing would be a great activity. It's mentally stimulating and at higher levels very athletic.

Peeping Tom, combined with Web master
Take piccies/video when you do it, and then create a streaming website. This combines planning, agility, ability to work under pressure, and the complexities involved in building a website and creative a successful marketing/charge model for your customers. SIIHP.com maybe? |

Re: Help me use my brain.
Some ideas:
Learn to play guitar or some other instrument Get a decent flight sim and learn to fly Take up chess (though boring, really stimulates the brain) Get a gun and hit the shooting range, compete at some point Expand your reading list -- try new stuff Equip yourself with S/W and H/W to mix your own music Did all of these, still do most of them. |

[/ QUOTE ] Don't have any brilliant suggestions right now, but I'm curious - where did you get your MBA? I see you're in Atlanta, as am I - I got my MBA last year from Emory. Just curious if you are a fellow alum (and if you are, there's a chance I knew you). |

Maybe thief isn't such a bad idea... |
