Default Tilt

I've been lurking on these boards for a while now. I've been primarily playing short handed (2-6 players) 30/60 at party, stars, and UB. I've probably played with many of you.

I believe that I am a fairly capable player, and my results appear to bear that out. However, I know that i am very very capable of going on tilt. Badly.

Even being aware of this tendency of mine, I seem to be having trouble controlling it. Does anyone have any advice on how to prevent or control tilt? Especially if you've had a tendency to tilt in the past.

I'm sure that I present an odd picture to my opponents -- they must think that I just sometimes go crazy...

Thanks.

I notice that I tilt more online than I do live. Itz just so easy to click raise and call when you shouldn't.

Try taking your hand off the mouse between hands. Sounds stupid but it helps me

Stop tilting if you like money. I realized that I tilted because I lost money, and lost money because I tilted.

See how much that sucks?

Oh well. I'm over it for the most part right.

If you tilt after losses, set a loss limit and stop playing after you hit it. The psych forum will be able to give you more help.
