sometimes i don't think, but i think i played this hand horribly on all streets. how do you proceed?

I think I should have raised preflop, for some reason I didn't as I just wanted to see what would come of it.

Flop comes and it looks good for me. I bet and am raised by the guy immediately to my left. Really I can only be scared of A5, A2, 55, or 22. I'm quite sure he would have raised AA or AK preflop. Instead of thinking I just called. In hindsight I think I should have pushed right here or folded.

What do you think? I'm a little embarassed by this hand
