My first trip to commerce

Id heard that the players at commerce were all there to gamboool.... but wow

I played the $100 buy in ($2-3 blinds) game.
Crazy action on pretty much every hand.
People going all in before the cards were delt for the next hand, it was nuts.
Unfortunatly my cards were cold and i ended up being bored and getting blinded off for a few hours. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Oh yea, does that one guy that was on espn (you know, the 'he called me jack high!!' guy) play at the commerce? I saw someone who looked alot like him playing low limit stud. He was really pissed about a dealing error at the time.

interesting...

i was on my way out when i heard a bunch of yelling. I turned around and saw (who i believe was ellix) yelling at the dealer. According to him, he called a $4 bet, and the dealer proceeded to fold his hand and drag his $4 into the pot. Meanwhile at the table next to them, there was a dispute about who had won the pevious hand (the cards were in the muck at this point).

is there always this much drama at the stud tables [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

I saw him at the bike a few days ago, he wasn't playing just hanging out with people and eating food. If I ever get in a game with him, and have jack high on the river, I'm calling for sure. It is worth 1BB just for the experience, I wonder how much money he makes because of this?

its always a dramafest with the degenerates at the commerce club, i wish i would have had the pleasure of seeing ellix powers there though... but he seems like the kind of guy to be found at the normandie club

Yeah i went to the Hustler $125 tuesday night last week and elix powers was there...he busted out in the first hour...

I always see him at Bike.

My first time at Commerce I was there to play 4/8 HE. I wandered around the upstairs area going "WTF? I can't play here!" Geez, what a noob.

When I take friends, they are always floored when I tell them the high limit room, with 30-40 full tables, is only $20-40 and above.
