Default Top pair with bottom end of OESD

I really wanted to let this go on the turn, and probably shouldn't have made the crying call on the river.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (5 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls, Button folds, SB folds.

Turn: (6 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, MP1 calls, Hero calls.

River: (9 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, MP1 calls, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 12 BB

Why not make the call on the river? You have trips. UTG bet the turn so unless he already had a straight it is harder to put him on one now. I like your river call.

Er yes that's exactly what I meant. I call this down with two pair.

I probably fold the turn as you could be drawing dead to UTG+1 and might be beat by sb already with a queen and a better kicker. All your outs to the open ended straight draw are definitely not clean. Worst case scenario and UTG+1 has TJ and you are drawing completely dead.

you are getting 8to1 on the turn, you have top pair which will be good some % of the time, there are 2 5's that are likely safe, the other 2 are worth about 1 out together

the 2queens likely are still safe, and the 3 6's are worth prob 1out

that puts you in the range of 6outs here + the chance you still have the best hand, UTG could be betting the newly aquired spade draw, he doesn't always have JT or 65

overcalling on the river kinda eh, but its 11bets and mp1 hasn't shown any agression so who knows what if anything he has, you only need to win this about 9% of the time
