Flush Draw on a Paired Board
Hi, this hand came up in a live $1/$2 No-Limit game I was playing. I'll try my best to convert the hand clearly & neatly.
The table is only 5 players, with stacks ranging from $20-$50. UTG folds. Cut-off calls $2. Button folds. Hero in SB with K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] calls for $1 more. BB checks his option. Pot Size: $6 Flop comes J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero checks, BB bets $5, Cut-off smoothcalls for $5. Now had the cut-off not called, I was most likely going to end up folding, all three of us had about $16 dollars left after limping in pre-flop. Once the cut-off called I'm getting about 3-1 odds and figured I'll be seeing both the turn and river so I pushed all-in for $16 total ($11 raise). Any advice on a more +EV play, better reasoning, etc.? Thanks. |
