Default PA HUD - Aggression FREQUENCY

I would like to know the calculation. I'm hoping it differs from "aggression factor" by replacing the denominator (call) with (bet+raise+call+check). This would make it a much better correlate of aggression.

Aggression Frequency is calculated as:

(times_bet + times_raised) / (times_bet + times_raised + times_called + times_folded)

Thank you.

Why not include 'checks' in the denominator?

I think check == call, for all intents and purposes. It just means they don't put money in the pot.

PokerAce:

I'd like an option to use Aggression Frequency or Aggression Factor, it should be the end user's decision. Please consider this for future releases.

Because it's not possible to determine if the check was passive or aggressive (check raise), so checks are considered neutral and therefore not part of the formula.

Both Aggression Frequency and Aggression Factor are available for you to use. There's nothing stopping you from using them both together either.

Didn't notice that, I thought it was just Frequency at this point. Thanks...

Default Aggression Frequency ranges

Howdy. I was wondering what ranges you guys think are appropriate for AFreq? I like to color-code {<font color="red">red</font>, <font color="yellow">yellow</font>, <font color="green">green</font>, <font color="blue">blue</font>} for {<font color="red">Maniac</font>, <font color="yellow">Aggressive</font>, <font color="green">Neutral</font>, <font color="blue">Passive</font>}. I was ok at pattern-matching for AFactor, but I haven't studied Frequency much.

Thanks.
