Default 80 vs DcifrThs

80-160 on ub full game.
I have AQs UTG+2, UTG+1 opens, he is very loose and not good, I 3 bet, DcifrThs, aka Rocky McRock, caps, folded to UTG+1, we both call.

FLop is Q67 w/1 spade and 2 hearts
Check, I bet, DcifrThs raises, UTG+1 folds, I call.

Turn is a blank I check call.

River is a Blank I C-C.

Comments, fold at some point, more bets at some point?
thanks
dave

You can't fold. DcifrThs knows you may be raising thin so he is capping thinner than usual. I think I'd play it the same way as you.

You should consider changing your open capping standards in a spot like this.

You're more aggro than I am preflop and I'd cap TT here. But I don't see you betting every street with it. My stats on the original PFR are that he raises preflop 25% of the time. I'm sure your stats on him were similar. And if Dave finds a fold here and you know what he had it's bad for his metagame against you in the future.

yea i think you guys are right. he played it perfectly. id ask him what he had if he folded and if i said i had AKhh or AQs he'd probably [censored] himself...especially since at the time he was not running all that well....but even not it doesn't matter b/c making folds like this in big pots is not a good idea.

so dave, very nice hand.

Hahaha, thanks I am sure you liked the donation. Obv. Barron had KK and I lost. After the hand I felt sure that I should have folded, and I think that against barron i prolly could. That was the funny part, I felt it played almost like a live hand with a much stronge read, and much less chance of trickery than most online hands. But, Barron and I play a fair amount togeher and he know I respect his play and his raises. And so, like Hakee said, i don't think i can make folds like this, esp if i ever let slip that i did, or else i will constenatly get owned.

Also for the record I don't think there is anouther player on that entire site that I would ever concider folding agaist or ever not 3 betting on the flop.

thanks for the input
dave

I don't imagine you're going to win any more by doing anything different if you have the best hand, so I would have done the same thing and lost the same amount as you.
