Default Ugh...do I call this?

Pokerstars NLHE $1/2 blinds $200 max buy-in

Relative stacks:
Hero (270)
Villian (230)

Villian is very loose aggressive, and likes to win pots more than he likes to win money. He'll raise with a huge range of hands, and has already lost his buy-in twice in the 30 minutes since I sat down.

Hero dealt K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG+1, Hero calls BB, Villain (MP2) raises to $10, folds around to Hero who raises to $32, Villian thinks for a while and calls. Pot is about $65.

Flop: J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Hero leads out for $65, Villian pushes entire stack ($200 more) into the middle. Hero says, "I've gotta call this" and calls.

Basically, should I call this huge bet? Should I raise more preflop? Should I check-raise the flop? Any suggestions/comments/insults are much appreciated.

Hey,

Maniacs get hands too. I think it would be tough for you to get away from your hand vs his set of Jacks though.

Yea I thought he might have JJ, but then remembered a hand I had seen him play where he hit top set with position vs. a known overpair. He just smooth-called the flop and turn bets and then raised all-in on the river. Thus, I put him on a hand like A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] or maybe even Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 55 and 33 crossed my mind, but my instinct really told me I had him beat to this point.

I guess this post is slightly worthless at this point, because it's all based on my reads, but interestingly enough Villian turned over 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and ended up hitting a flush on the turn. I just thought it was an interesting play by villian, both pre-flop and post-flop. Does anyone else make a move like this on a regular basis? If so, does the bankroll flux make it worth it for the times you hit?

his flop push is fine.

his preflop raise is ok too. But his call of the reraise is a bit bad. Really didn't have deep enough stacks to do that.

I'd play KK exactly the same vs. a maniac. Most of the time they have QJ or some other garbage. Easy call IMO.
