Default Weird line from Villain

Party 5/10 6-handed and I'm new to the table. CO openminraises, Villain in SB calls with 1000 behind and I make it 70 with black Kings in the BB and 1000 behind. SB is a semi-loose regular who plays well enough, but makes some really weird plays once in a while. CO folds and SB calls.

Flop Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] with 160 in the pot.

SB leads for 150 and I call.

Turn 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] with 460 in the pot.

SB leads for 250 and I call.

River 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] with almost 960 in the pot.

SB checks, I push for 530.

Looks good to me...He would have to be very sure that you had KK or AA to make this play with a set and get paid.

Also, I was planning to fold the river if he bet. Good or bad?

If he bets you think he can beat KK, but if he checks you don't? This seems weird to me. What do you put him on? What leads flop and turn but then checks, river. What do you put him on that leads all 3 streets?

A Queen or a bluff.

Something that beats KK. Probably a set; I guess AA would be possible too?

he gets stubborn and calls with QJ. ship it.

fwiw i think if you push turn you have a better chance of being called since he has outs. i like your line if there is a flush draw and you think he might lay down because then when river bricks they will talk themselves into thinking you have missed draw. but on rainbow boardi like a turn push.

i was so mad today, i had a guy lead into my AA on two streets and rag board w/ 2 hearts, i cold called two streets, river offsuit 9, he checks i push for 1k (pot size) his time winds down and he folds... then he comes to the chat bitching about how he meant to call w/ his pair of nines but accidentally couldnt or something. damn. anyway i think he put me on big cards/hearts or else i wouldn't get paid off (Q on board too, on turn, actually)...

I agree with Duck, you should make a move on this turn.
