Default AKs, AKo, QQ, JJ in bb

what is the correct move when there are many limpers preflop with hands like AKs, AKo, QQ, JJ in the big blind? i feel like raising to the pot will so easily define your hand and you will be out of position and vulnerable when they try to take you down.
