Default I Turned Top 3

BB is 38/10/1.0 after 1500 hands.
MP is 35/20/2.9 after 2200 hands.

Both are slightly loose preflop and both have been reckless postflop.

Obviously if someone has an 8, the turned queen is meaningless. How willing should I be to surrender here?

I think you can find a fold here. BB is relatively loose passive and called two cold on the flop. This is the typical donk line for open trips. I think calling two cold without closing the action is just a recipe for disaster here.

I am curious as to why you didnt three bet the flop? What was your plan for the rest of the hand?

I didn't 3-bet the flop because once the BB called, I shouldn't bloat the pot 3-ways on a draw heavy board...especially with the super aggro guy behind me who's likely to 4 bet it with anything. If BB folded on the flop, I would have 3-bet the nut HU.

Everything that happens from the turn on was situationally dependant and also hinged on the turn card that fell. I had no "plan" at the time because it was 50% likely to be altered. I was looking at a c/r on the turn if BB didn't raise.

His coldcall on the flop and turn c/r screams an 8 or J9. I think this should be a fold facing two cold.

this is a pretty standard fold. you likely have 4 outs (5 at best) and the pot is only 10BB. you def. arent good 1 in 4 or so.
