Default Hello,Players! 3-way action in ...

this 1-5 no ante game featuring "Mr. T","Ruthless" Ruth, and
SittingBull.
On 3rd Str. the Bull fired 1BB when "Mr. T" came over the top, and "Ruthless" called.
Bull: (J A) Q rainbow all live cards
Mr. T: (X,Y) K live K
Ruthless: (X,Y)?

Mr. T , Ruthless , and the Bull have been locking horns for several years.
Mr. T is a very conservative player who respects SittingBull's play.
The Bull,likewise,respects Mr. T's play.
Ruthless is a very loose-aggressive player who enjoys bluff-betting on 6th and 7th.
Since my attention was focused on Mr. T.,I can't remember what Ruthless had.
However,I do know that she will call thru 6th with ANY one small or medium pair .

It's now up to the Bull. What should he do after Mr. T re-raised?
Hmmmm
Just wondering!
Happy pokering!

Why raise with this holding in a No Ante Game?
What are you trying to accomplish?

Notice if you didn't raise, the answer to your question would be much easier.

But since you did..

If he is a decent player, you are beat! Fold!! If he has Kings, you are drawing to 3 cards to make your overpair and only 2 of them left to help with your Broadway draw. If he has Aces, you are really screwed.

Move on to the next hand.

This is actually a good example of how different a no-ante game is from even a game with a moderate ante.

i think this is a fold. the pot is small you have one overcard and there is a third player who you will not be able to get rid of. but if there is a chance you can outplay them if you catch a pair on board then you might want to play, but even then i would still fold. if it was a .50 ante then i would reraise.

Default Hello,CJ! Since I was playing...

with "regulars",I wanted to very my play a little.
I do not want the "regulars" to obtain a fix on some particular betting pattern that I have when I hold certain cards.
I also put Mr. T on split K's.
However,I decided to take off a card anyway.
on 4th ,I connected with another "A",giving me split A's.
Mr. T also connected with an "A".
Mr. T: (X,Y) K A
SittingBull : (A, J) Q A
Mr. T fires away 1BB and Ruthless calls.
I put her on a medium pair.
Assuming U have Bull's 4th Str. hand, what would U do in this spot??

Just wondering!

Default Hello,Pat! I decided to take....

a card off!
On 4th I obtained split A's and Mr. T obtained one of the "A's ".
So he was showing K A.
He then proceeded to bet on 4th. Assuming that U are still in on 4th,what would U do if U had the Bull's hand??
Ruthless called the 4th Str. bet. She most likely had a medium pair.
Hmmm

Default Results--I want to thank CJ and Pat....

for their helpful objective critique.
On 4th,Mr. T fired away with A K showing ; Ruthless called; and Sitting Bull went over the top with his split A's.
On 5th Str., Mr. T checked,Ruthless checked, and the Bull fired away.
Apparently, everyone seemed to have obtained "rags" on 5th.
On 6th, Mr. T again checked,Ruthless checked, and the Bull fired his last bullet.
No one seemed to have been helped on 6th.
On 7th, Mr. T checked, ruthless checked, and the Bull checked with "dry" A's.
Mr. T took it down with A's and K's.
He smoothed called all the way thru 6th when he connected with his A's and K's on 4th.
We all agreed that on 3 th, Mr. T had split K's.
However,I did not put him on the case "A" on 4th LOL!
Happy pokering!

If you're going to play this hand... raise, hope for a re-raise from Mr. T. He pities the fool who calls 2 more with a small pair (i.e., you hope Ruth will fold).

Doc.
