The reason you call weak pairs like this is to hope to get paid off when you hit. You *did* hit, and yet you didn't get maximum value because you failed to raise. You also didn't charge seat 4 the maximum to try to suck out on you.

You gotta raise/cap with trips on 4th...its just too unlikely that seat 4 has trip 5s since you see another 5 in seat 2s hand. At a .5/1 table, you can expect he'll probably chase you with his 5s and pay you off. Also, merely calling gave those 9s on seat 8 a cheap draw to catch another nine or catch a str8.
