Default Party 2-4 vs. INCinerate.

MP2 is INCinerate of Warcraft II fame. Rockish pre flop(Plays 12% of his hands and raises 6%). He seems to play very aggressively when he senses weakness. On another table, he repeatedly made big flop raises against me on scary boards(AKx - I folded JJ).

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Jeff (9 handed) converter

MP2 ($400)
Jeff ($400)

Preflop: Jeff is BB with Ts, Td. SB posts a blind of $2.
3 folds, MP2 raises to $15, 4 folds, Jeff calls $11.

Flop: ($32) 5d, Th, 3c (2 players)
Jeff checks, MP2 bets $30, Jeff raises to $60, MP2 calls $30.

Turn: ($152) Jd (2 players)

I bet $100.

I'm really not a fan of the flop checkminraise. Lead out or make a real checkraise. This tiny checkraise just gives away the strength of your hand without getting much value.

Do you not like money? Lead weak, like 15 on this flop, then let the hand play out, given your history with this guy.

Yeah, I guess you're right. I got too fancy. It worked out well in the end(he pushed turn w/ 98s), but I think that leading for $15 is the best plan.

Although my play wasn't ideal, he misread my hand the way I wanted him to. Doesn't a min check-raise usually represent a vulnerable hand like 77 in these games? He'd seen me lay down some hands to his big raises and I thought that it would be hard to get all his chips by leading.

so check CALL the flop

then lead the turn

or bet call the flop, check the turn

right?

That make sense. I think bet-call, then check-raise is probably the best line against this opponent.
