Default Easy call? Hard call? Lay it down?

Pokerroom. $100 buy-in no-limit. $1 big blind.

Dealt 99 UTG. I limp. Plenty of followers. (I know I could have raised. I didn't. It would have solved some problems, but cost me money in the long run ... I think).

Flop is J J 10. Checked to see what the action was behind me. Checked around.

Turn is the 9 giving me a boat, albeit not the strongest boat in the history of hold em. I make a pot-sized bet and someone goes all-in.

I threw my money in, content to think, if I'm beat, I'm beat.

Knowing the range of hands I'd play for $1, the opponent could easily have 10/9 or J/10.

Anyone lay this down?

How much was the all-in? How much was in the pot?

The all-in was a raise from about $8 to about $120.

There was about $8 in the pot prior to my bet. So $16 prior to the all-in, which was about 3/4 of my stack.

My only read was that the guy was solid. Not spectacularly good, but steady.

What do you mean? "Solid" usually means pretty good.

I probably call this expecting to see a straight enough of the time to make it +EV. However, I'm folding if I know the opponent is not a donk.

If the guy is solid I'm folding. I can't really see a solid villain making this overbet with or without the nuts though. Why would he?

Its not so much that he must have the nuts, but I'd be fairly certain a solid player would at least have a boat (or straight flush if applicable) and, as we have the worst possible boat, we're drawing to one out at most.
