From Pinnacle - Odds to Win WS...any value here?

Odds To Win World Series 2005 ****

Atlanta Braves +1060
Boston Red Sox +545
Chicago White Sox +860
Houston Astros +825
Los Angeles Angels Of Anaheim +740
New York Yankees +365
San Diego Padres +2700
St. Louis Cardinals +315

I kind of like the Astros +825 and the Braves +1060. Both teams have better pitching than St Louis IMO and I think the winner of their series will beat the Cards. On the other side, I think there is inherent value in the Angels and CWS because the public is all over the Yanks and Sox. Any thoughts???

I don't see a whole lot of value in any team. Sure, the Red Sox, Cards, and Yanks are really bad bets - while the others are closer to break even. But I doubt you'd make much money in the long run on any of them.

World series bets are "fun" bets, not edge bets.

This is probably a dumb question but I'm very green with sports betting.
Why are the Red Sox, Yanks, and Cards bad bets? Is it because the line is so close to 0?
Like in +1060-+315 315 closer.....
