Default Official Kevin Bott WSOP Thread Redux

Ya'll see my boy decapitate helmouse last night? Pity they didn't show the entire hand.

Details of Kev busting helmouse, from the CP column:

"I had only $4,100 left with the blinds at $600-$1,200. In the small blind, I called $600 more with K-8, after the button had limped in. The flop was 10-8-4, I moved all in for a pittance, and the big blind called. The player on the button raised, and when the big blind folded, he showed me a hand that I have written about many times — Q-10. When the last two cards provided no help for me, it was all over." Serious question: Hellmuth has 3500 left after posting, & there's 4800 in the pot after Kev limps in. Should Hellmuth have gone all in or does it matter?

IMO, KB would call 2900 more w/QT & 8300 in the pot, and I think he had 20K+ at the time.

Yes, I think Hellmuth clearly should have pushed in this hand.
