Default Party MTT - 35 left AJo in MP, what\'s your line?

$22 entry fee
850 entrants

Down to 35, most of the donks are gone by this point. I've played moderately tight, haven't had to show a hand in a while. I'm below average w/ t18,000, blinds are 1,000/2,000. For the last few rounds we've been trading off blind steals. I'm dealt AJ in MP and it's folded to me. I have one monster stack behind the rest are in my range. What's your line?

With 9 big blinds its push or fold. A raise is pretty much useless as you're committed (3 BBs is 1/3 your stack), so you might as well go all the way and push to maximize your FE. Hope it turned out ok.

I'd happily push here.

i'd make a standard raise of 3x the blind with the intent of pushing it all in. a $6000 raise still gets respect especially if u are perceived as a tight player. and worst case scenario if u feel u have to lay it down, u still have some chips to play with.

thats bad, just push. you aren't laying this hand down when you get 3:1 if someone pushes behind you.

you have 1 play. If you don't push here, you are horribly weak/tight.

You are probably posting this because you ran into a monster hand. It happens.

Exactly; deep stack is holding Aces. Just looking for assurance that I took the right line. I'm basically a STT player and wanted to make sure I made the correct play given the circumstances. Thank you for the responses.
