CO had burned his money in a fantastic pace so he could have anything. Since he was almost all in I figured I could raise away the others and see a showdown. When UTG+1 cold called I though he had me beat. When the turn came I though I was either way behind or ahead. Better to check behind to induce a bluff on the river, or should I bet the turn and check behind on the river?

I would bet the turn the way you played it. Who knows, he might fold a gutshot draw or something now that the board's paired.

I like checking behind on the turn, because it still gives you the chance to let him bluff the river, or if he checks the river, you can value bet (which you didn't seem to do).

I'm not so sure I am ahead on the river often enough to value bet this. What could he have to coldcall the flop with that I beat? If he was on a draw he won't call my river bet, and if he has me beat with a 9 he will call. It seems like the only hand that will call is one that has me beat.
