I'd check-raise the flop, or 3bet it here now if you led out.

What am I protecting myself from? I think against such a loose raiser the onyl thing I should worry about is a Q or a K...other than that, I can C/R any turn card.

Sorry, this is my second shot at 15/30, and the first one ended up badly so I moved back down to 5/10 6max.

against Laggy co 3 bet I would check raise and cap and lead turn and then just call down if he raised here. Your hand has to be good here more that 50% of time. A lot of laggys never give up after pf 3 bet. agg post flop also. I would bet river and pay off a raise if I showed weakness by checking the turn.

it's not about protecting yourself from anything. it's about getting as much money in while you think you're ahead. check-raising this sort of flop will induce a call-down from a large range of hands. going for the turn check-raise is okay if you know this type of player will fire at the turn with just overcards (or a lower pair), but you risk having him check behind (which is what happened here). and they may not call you down with some weaker hands if you check-raise the turn.

Check raise this flop and induce him to raise a turn blank with 3 outs maybe. He is raising so many hands that will take a free card. I think the flop lead with the intention of just calling is fishy, esp b/c lots of players set up like that for a turn CR. If you really like to lead then 3 bet him and lead the turn and call down a raise.
