Re: Bellagio\'s 1k friday tournament
2000 in chips and 100/200 blinds in round 3. This seems awful fast even with 40 minute rounds.
Has any played in this before? I would love to hear if you think it is a good format. |

Re: Bellagio\'s 1k friday tournament
I didn't play in this one, but I played in the Wed. $500 a few weeks back when I was there for spring break which has the same format. The structure was ok, I'm a little biased though cause I took 2nd . Its actually probably a little too fast even for a $500 event, so for a $1k event it sucks even a little more.
Make sure you get there real early to sign up too. The Wed. I was there they only had 7 tables seating 11 each, but they allowed 120 players to sign up as alternates, which basically means you replace people as they bust out up until the end of the third level. I actually was an alternate and didn't get into the tournament until the middle of the 2nd round. |
