1. Push.
2. I'd probably fold because C0s smooth call with that stack size is alarming. 3. Push. |

Re: Need advice on 3 preflop hands...from Pacific 50K guaranteed
1. I would just call here. You'll have position and a hand that plays well post-flop if BB decides to come along for the ride, and absent a read, I think you're pretty solidly behind anyone who comes over the top, allowing you to fold.
2. I'd push this one. There's a good chance you'll fold out two overcards and flip with shortie getting a substantial overlay. Calling behind isn't terrible, either, because you'll have position and Villain should be easy to read, since you'll have a dry sidepot. Then again, you'd be offering very good odds for the blinds to come in, and you really don't want to play a multi-way pot here. I'm not worried about the smooth call. There's an excellent chance caller is just terrified of bubbling out and doesn't want to put all of his chips in the middle with less than a monster. 3. Easy, easy push. There's no substantial jump in prize money anywhere in the near future, this is the time to be building a stack. |
