thoughts? I am more concerned with my turn play here. The villian is a weak player who just lost a big hand. Doesn't seem to understand shorthanded play too well, tends to be too passive and overplay weak holdings.

My thought is that the turn filled him up and he bet small so he wouldn't lose you.
If he's more on the passive side, then it's a clear fold. When passive guys raise you, and all you have is mid pair no draw, that's a good time to get out of dodge. Against a real passive player you can fold to his flop raise. If he's more on the "overplays weak holdings" side, and could be on monkey tilt, then you can consider calling. What's up with your flop bet, BTW? Kinda small. Bet more or check. |
