Default Can I fold this river? Tough hand.

I get a dream flop here but feel I am unsure of my play on every street.

(Note: New table, but fairly passive)

On the flop Im trying to keep players in to build up a pot for my flush. When its raised I push back to see if he is taking a free card for his draw or if he has a set or a made straight.

The turn brings the scare card, so I feel I can check to the flop raiser. If he checks through I will value bet the river UI, but if he bets I easily have the outs to play on for my flush draw. A bet-any line just doesnt seem right here.

When this passive player bets the river I figure to be totally dead, but is the crying call worth it for 11BB?

Raise the flop. You'll get a caller or two anyway, and 2/3 of the time your flush won't come in and your top pair is vulnerable.

Im raising that flop.

Theres a chance to thin the field, maybe win the pot.
the flush draw is only a draw. and your hand on the flop is vulrnable.

exactly how I feel. If they call, it's for value, if they fold, you protected your hand. win/win

Why do you want to build the pot? The keep your customers logic is flawed. Raise flop and bet turn and you won't get to the difficult river.
