My first NL50 post, a BB special hand...
So I'm finally taking a shot at NL50. Here's what I think is the only questionable hand I played in my first session.
This is MP3's second hand at the table. How does the line look? Am I too aggressive by betting out each street? The river call is a must, I assume? Thanks for any comments. Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (10 handed) converter CO ($48.75) Button ($51.10) SB ($52.50) Hero ($54.60) UTG ($32.62) UTG+1 ($19.50) UTG+2 ($25) MP1 ($131.95) MP2 ($98.25) MP3 ($61.60) Preflop: Hero is BB with 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25. UTG+2 posts a blind of $0.50. <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, UTG+2 (poster) checks, MP1 calls $0.50, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP3 calls $0.50, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, Hero checks. I like betting more on the turn and the river. Make it $6 on the turn and $12 to $18 on the river. I think you have to call that raise.

No way to fold the river.
Turn bet 5$. The last thing he will put you on is a flush, and he may bluff. Flop looks good, but what's your plan on a bricked turn? I especially like the flop out of the BB where you can represent a 7 easily. River-- bet 12-15ish. Call his raise-- you'll often see a lower flush or just open trips. |

[/ QUOTE ] Unless I have a read on the guy (which I don't in this situation), I'm just check-calling up to maybe a 1/2 pot bet on the turn. I'm putting him on a flush draw or a 7 after the flop call, and he's likely not going to fold to a turn bet. Sound okay? |

[/ QUOTE ] Because if he has a seven or a lower flush, he will most likely call a 3/4 pot bet on that river because the way that you played it, he shouldn't be putting you on a flush. |

If that is your default way of playing it what is the content? The river minraise is an easy call.
