I agree, and against a good player i still bet this river because i'm expecting him to raise the turn if he's got 2p or set and i don't expect him to be idiot enough to have the straight. Definitely a +EV betting - I missed out on a lot of money over time until i sacked up and started betting when checked to even on semi-threatening boards. You may lose this time but over time AT AJ AQ KK is paying you off.

Yuck. Against a bad player, fine. Against a good player, yuck. Just opens too many bags of worms. Once they see that you are value betting such marginal hands, how long do you think it will be before they start check/raising you on the river every time?
