Default 66

Sup homies, haven't been posting as much lately, but still playing a lot. Here's a pretty routine hand I think.

party 15/30 7 handed

26/9/1.3 player openraises UTG+1. I 3-bet on the button with 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Blinds fold, he calls.

Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

He checks. I bet. He calls.

Turn: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Check. Check.

River: 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Bet. Fold.

Chris,

I'd probably fold PF against the opponent you listed. I'd 3-bet 77 and 88 a fair amount of the time though so I don't know if there's much discussion to be had there. A 26/9 guy is a bit more aggro than most but makes me still think that he's positionally aware in general for his raises.

Postflop looks pretty standard to me.

Seems fine. If the guy were raising more hands before the flop, the turn decision might be closer.

If the board is the same on the turn except it contains a K rather than an A ... that's a tough one and depends what I think about getting check-raise. I probably bet, but checking behind and calling the river seems viable too.

If the board doesn't contain a spade, I bet, since then a fold to a check-raise is clear.

Original hand is standard.

If board board was K hi instead of Ace high I would bet the turn as a default, because there are more drawing hands available. If the turn was not a spade, then I would always bet.

King high I probably bet and still fold to a raise. If hes positional aware of his raises Im going for him having the A unless he has AK.

Non spade turn, definitly take a stab at. And as Nate says it makes folding to a raise more clear...having the flush draw hit muddies the water a little on what his holding is if u get raised.
