Default top set vs. flopped straight (1-2NL)

villian has about 200, hero has over 400

villian raises to 18 in middle position, one caller in LP and hero calls on the button with QJs (no diamonds)

flop comes -

8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

villian is first to act and instantly pushes for 175-ish, LP folds and hero obviously calls

villian turns over TT, board pairs on the turn and hero is drawing dead.

blah blah bad beat post....but it didnt happen to me, actually to a friend last night at foxwoods and just felt like posting it

I'm glad.

We all learned from this experience -- don't post [censored] like this.

Now people are posting bad beats that aren't even their own??? wtf

My God, that's horrible. There's really no choice but to give up poker immediately.
