What is the net worth of some of the famous poker players? I heard that Johnny Chan is worth 40 million. Is this true? I heard that Doyle Brunson has done a good job of keeping his money. Some of the other pros are broke. They like going to the craps table too much! Phil Ivey's home in vegas cost 2.5 million dollars. So he seems to be investing his money very well. Stu Ungar had 30 million dollars pass through his hands. When he died his net worth was 400 bucks! The 400 hundred dollars he had in his pocket.

I think some of the older players have proven that they invested well over the years (like Doyle, Tompko, Reese) and some were doomed to fail (like Stu) because of their addictive personalities. Beyond that it's probably none of my business how much they make. Who knows. Good for them if they are investing wisely.
