This President\'s Cup rule is a sham.
You have to actually win the last match to win it all? What a [censored] sham! You can't tie the last match, you have to win. Yet there have been countless matches tied before, but just because you are one of the final ones you have to win. Total bullshit.

DiMarco was clutch, didn't even matter.
and even if he missed, Mickelson was going to close out Cabrera |

I agree. Why can the doubles matches end in a tie, yet the singles matches have to go to extra holes?
Damn there was some great golf played today, by both the Americans and the International team. |

The rule is: There will be no halved matches in singles play, until the Cup has been clinched. In other words, had Tiger not lost his entire game this weekend and beaten Retief (who was a ridiculous putter), then they could have lost every match after they hit 18 points. Now, if you were complaining about the rule that said there would be no sudden death in the event of a 17-17 tie, then I'd be right there with you brother. And with that said. USA! USA! USA! |
