Default Somewhat-Inexpensive Watches

Graduation is coming up and I could use a new watch.

My parents seem pretty cool with the idea, but I doubt they'll be willing to spend over $300, and I don't really want them to either.

So, does anyone have recommendations for a watch $300 or less that I could wear on an everyday basis. No digital watches, please.

I'm a big fan of the Invicta 8926, which can be had for $100-$120.

I didn't think there would be a Nixon that would fit what I was looking for, but apparently I was wrong. What do you guys think of The Esquire CS. I'm thinking the brown one looks pretty good.

I don't want to get all watch-snobby but for $220 (the price of the watch you linked to) you can get a good automatic (self-winding) watch, if that matters. If you're into how that Nixon looks then that's cool, as it pretty much comes down to personal preference.

Personally, I'd just have a hard time paying >$200 and not getting an automatic or at least a manual-wind watch, but again that's just my preference.

I'm mainly attracted to the fact that it displays day, date, and month and still manages to look pretty cool.

This one costs a little more than you were looking to spend, but I like it much more than most watches I've seen that cost $100 less.

Great recommendations from Scrub and bdk3clash. Both brands cited offer incredible value for the dollar.
