I thought I had some game. There were nights I would sit at the 4/8, 6/12. or 100 buy-in NL and I'd feel really sharp. I'd have a feel for what everyone was up to and would make very sharp decisions.

I had some problems though. First of all, those games were above my bankroll. Basically, I didn't even have a bankroll. I'd just take a few hundred bucks out of my paycheck to play, and if I won, I sort of had a bankroll. If I won three or four times in a row, I'd usually go look for a 10/20 or 15/30 game. This system, as I see it now, basically ensured that I'd never win. I'd tilt really badly, so much so that often it would carry over away from the tables. I was also sick and tired of going to work at 7AM bleary-eyed from an all-nighter online or at the casino.

I basically decided to take a six month cooling-off period, which I'm five months into. I think its extremely unlikely that I'll go back.

Sorry for poker content in OOT.

I am retired from online play. I still play in some home regular home games, and go to the B&M every couple of weeks. I am not playing nearly as much as I used to.

So you registered and started posting on 2+2 around the time you stopped playing poker? Makes sense.
