KK and A flops
These always give me trouble. Is this an easy laydown, or something you just call down. Villian is pretty new and I don't have a real read on him yet.

Re: KK and A flops
I usually limp PF in this position. If someone raises behind you then you have an easy fold, otherwise you might get a cheap flop and possibly flop your set (the whole reason you're playing this hand of course).
Given this terrible terrible flop and EP betting out into two players (notice that this kind of bet cannot be abluff) I think you have an easy bluff raise. Fold to a three-bet of course. |

Re: KK and A flops
1) Don't post results.
2) I fold the flop against a typical player. |

Re: KK and A flops
Obviously an easier hand with a read, but I think against typical opponents, either folding the flop outright or folding the turn if he bets again is better than calling down. This is because a lot of players will bet a flush draw on the flop and check call it on the turn.

This might help. KK when Ace flops

Re: KK and A flops
Raise the flop. The villain might have an Ace, but there's no reason to let him take control of the pot from you yet.
Bet the turn, and if he's still in there check-behind the river. |

Re: KK and A flops
Jakesta, if you're foling KK just because an A flops then that is a habitual mistake that you get to make over and over.

Certainly he will have only a J or a flush draw more than 1 in 7 times. I also call turn and river barring any [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. |
