Granny investors update
hiya,
as promised, i will keep you all posted before, during and after the event. the purpose of this post is to let you guys know that the final numbers are in. there are 125 investors that have put up 80.4% of my stake. this leaves me with a bit less than 20%, but i let a few old friends in that were not here when the original mike haven 'crusade for granny' began. i had contemplated whether i should post my blog-type reports on this forum or not, but decided to do so for these reasons. 1. ALL 125 investors came from this forum 2. i am not soliciting anything at all so i am within the terms 3. there is no other effective way to keep all of you informed other than posting it here. 4. since the investors came from this forum, then the reports will be absolutely ON-topic. sooo, trolls be gone. if you see these threads, you are welcome to come spit at me, but save your arguments about me not posting here. they will fall on deaf ears. if the mods don't want the reports, they will certainly tell me. OK, that's my once off disclaimer on why the updates will be here. i'll start next week and try and do something daily that will carry it through to my victory press confrence. I didn't read all the past threads but I am curious about how your trip expenses are dealt with, since you will be making the trip but only standing to win 20% of whatever money level you achieve.
I look forward to your trip reports.

[/ QUOTE ] trip expenses: $1,149 1st class ticket. $379 allowance by true. so, i paid $770 for my plane ticket. true is paying for my room. expenses zero keeping me in hotdogs ----> who knows? thousands? (out of my pocket) however, expenses are not being deducted from the return and i am also covering any and all costs for administering the 1099's. i know... i can cash and still personally lose money. but that's ok, it was my choice. next year no partners, but i would not have it any other way this year.

I got to start taking the flights where they serve the little bottles.
Last time I flew 1st Class they poured the drinks and brought them to you. We were flying from Sacramento to NY and I told the attendent that if my Bailey's on the rocks was empty then we had a problem. It was 6:30 in the morning. It was a good day. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
