200 NL@Stars. Turn decision with J9s
I was reviewing hands in my PT database and found this hand, so no reads unfortunately
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx MP ($196.55) CO ($162) Hero ($294.30) SB ($268.65) BB ($72.35) UTG ($55.25) Preflop: Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 3 folds, Hero raises to $7, 1 fold, BB calls $5. Flop: ($15) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) BB checks, Hero bets $10, BB calls $10. Turn: ($35) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) BB checks, Hero bets $25 The 2/3 CB is pretty standard for me both when I miss and when I hit. On the turn I was not sure to take one more off or to check behind. My reasoning for betting was that I might move him off a better jack, or if he had the nutflushdraw I didn't want him to get there for free. And... my hand looked nice But afterwards I started thinking that a checkbehind might be OK. If he has the nutflushdraw his call will almost be good (if he had a bigger stack it would definitely be good since I can't fold if the flush gets there). If he gets stubborn with a better one pair hand I cant get him to fold river when a blank hits. |
