Default ($27) LAG overbet push

He has played 3 pots so far. He raised my EP limp with Ah9h, flopped a flush draw, bet all three streets and showed when the guy folded on the river (where he hit his flush). He then came over the top of the same opponent's EP raise with 55 and evened the stacks again.

Ignore preflop please.

Just fold it.

Why do you raise with A7s. Im not saying you're wrong, but why not just call if you wanna see a flop?

I tried hard, but I couldn't find any reason to play this. Fold and find a better spot.

I see it often but the problem is it can mean bloody anything, and you're usually behind, or occasionally marginally ahead.. and it's not often worth finding out.

bluefeet66: PF was fine. button open-raising this is not a problem deepstacked
bluefeet66: an arguement for NOT, a decent trap hand on a perfect flop vs. agro
bluefeet66: i'd LOVE to call his donk push
bluefeet66: LOVE too
bluefeet66: dunno if it's right.......but
bluefeet66: wouldnt LAG fire back PF w/PP?
bluefeet66: could be a 9/6...but i have a hunch you have a ton of outs, if you're behind at all
bluefeet66: against a guy like that, i wouldn't mind rolling the dice, fire up another
bluefeet66: garbage would be my guess
bluefeet66: given i think you are ALREADY ahead here maybe 1/2 of the time???...i think your outs make it a reasonable call
bluefeet66: it'd be FUN TOO!!
bluefeet66: 1/2 might be too generous, but it sounds like this move is certainly indicative of a rag "he can't call this!!!" donk move
bluefeet66: thats one of those hands you might make an "incorrect" call on out of sheer curiosity ;-)

PF - fine
Post? Meh. funny hand isn't it? i guess his type might be just as capable of overbetting this with a 6/9, but geeeesh!

if you're ahead 1/2 the time, suckout 1/3 of the other times.. of course you only get to be ruined once.

put on your "captain spite" hat, toggle the tabs so you don't have to see him call you dumbazz, and call!!!

ps. besides, you LOOOOOOOVE spots like this

pss. folding is obviously prudent too

I think a call here overall is -$EV. And that is all that counts, not this spite call, "fun too" (sic) and other nonsense..

Please put him on a range. Sometimes he is drawing to 4 outs here.

He's a donk, who knows what he has? Maybe you have him dominated (seriously, who knows?), you might be drawing slim, but in any event it's not hard to get away from this hand, and simply out play him later.

With that said, I agree it'd be fun to call him.

(But I'm a baby and would fold still)
