When is it time to place a bet?

so I see this line avaliable now: Nov-11 NFL Pittsburgh Steelers -4½ -104 @mansion

I would like to bet on it, but not sure if it is the right timing now as it is only Nov-3.

Any comments? do you bet when the time is closer to the match?

I've never heard a football game referred to as a match.

As for your question if you think the line will move against you, bet it now, if you think it will move in your direction, wait.
