Default What are the best LV NL holdem tournys for beginners?

All,

My wife wants to play in a NL Holdem tournament in LV in mid-August. What are some good,(cheap), choices for her to play in?

How long do they usually last? What about ones that allow rebuy? What does it mean Add-on? What is the difference between buy-in and entry fee?

Any other advice would be welcome.

Thanks in Advance,

the sahara has a pretty good tourney 3 times a day (11a, 7p, 11p). it's $40 buy-in, $2 add-on, $20 rebuy. their def. of "add-on" is much different from on-line; don't know if it's standard b&m. it means you get 50% more chips for $2, so of course everyone does it. their def. of "rebuy" is that you can rebuy only once any time in the first hour, regardless of stack.

2000 for initial $42, 1500 for $20, so not rebuying is a bad mistake. it's basically a $62 tournament.

blinds start very low (25-25), increase every 20 minutes, but they skip some levels (it goes 500-1k, then 1k-2k). it was 12-handed during the wsop, which sucked. pretty good tourney overall.
