1/2 Blind Situation
Okay these types of hands aren't discussed a whole lot on the micro fourm particularly because they aren't common in .5/1. In 1/2 the happen slightly more. Okay so i'm gooing to see if my thought processes are right on this hand
Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 max, 8 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 6 folds, Hero raises, BB calls. A7o folded to me, pretty easy raise..no real discussion here Imho Flop: (4 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, BB raises, Hero ???? Small pot..I have A-high...not good...right? Villan has been unspectacular..probally about a 30/6 type player but he hasn't done anything funky in the aprox 25 hands i've played with him. What's my line here and how was my play so far? Thanks all. |

Re: 1/2 Blind Situation
Looks fine. What hand would you put the BB on based on your read?

Re: 1/2 Blind Situation
I'd say folding is fine as is calling and check/folding the turn unimproved. Don't fold this everytime though - some BB's will defend like crazy with any 2 cards so if this happens more than a few times you may need to call down.
Playing 6-max will greatly help your game here! |
