Default Waiting for the turn to raise - standard?

Pacific Poker, 2/4, nice table with many fisherman's friends

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
UTG folds, 4 calls to hero and I call, CO calls, button folds, SB completes and BB checks.

Flop (8 sb): 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (8 players)
3 checks to UTG+2 who bets, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Hero calls with 4 people yet to act, planning to raise the turn if it's a non-club and don't put 4 to a a straight on the board.

I like it, the pot is big and it should allow you the best way to protect your hand.

FWIW: I think pf is very marginal.

Very easy preflop fold. Anyway, I'd raise the flop because its likely bettor is leading with a draw and thus you have no guarantee he'll follow through and bet the turn.

I like it.

After 4 limpers, I'm going to be playing a lot of hands.

About the preflop decision, I gave no reads except for the table being fishy; and that's exactly what it was. I don't remember the numbers exactly but the CO and button were both extremely loose and passive, always calling, never raising, so to me the call was obvious with that many limpers. In a more normal game I would definitely fold it.
