Any live NL cash anywhere near Chicago?

Any live NL cash anywhere near Chicago? All I see in IL, IN, and MI is one game of NL cash with 200 max buyin (yawn). I'd like the stakes to be higher than that if I'm playing live (I usually play 1000 nl online, but often play higher if the game looks right). Am I missing something? I'd probably be happy with even a 500 max buyin.

They have a great 500 NL at the Resorts (used to be harrah's) in IN. They also often have a bigger game at trump. If you want action, call in advance and see what it on. There are people on both boats that will play fairly high given the chance.

Trump, IN has a $5/10 blinds, $400-min, no maximum game that has gotten pretty deep. Runs reliably on the weekends, but also some weekdays. Call 219 977 7444 to see if it is going.

well, Trump Casino generally spreads these NL games:

$50 min/$200 max NL ($2/$5 blinds)
$400 min/$1000 max NL ($5/$10 blinds)
$600 min/NO max NL ($25/$50 blinds) - i think it's $600 min, i may be wrong though

occasionally they will spread a $10/$25 blinds game, but rarely because it will eventually evolve into a $25/$50 game.

in the $25/$50 game, people tend to buy-in around $6000 or so (just something I've heard, i don't play in the "big game") btw, ken norman (formerly of the LA clippers) plays this game often.

resorts (formerly harrahs) generally only spreads a $200 min/$500 max NL game ($5/$5 or $5/$10 blinds depending on player vote)

from my experience, the $500 max game at resorts and the $1000 max at trump play fairly similar, but since the $500 max is usually the only NL game at resorts, there can be more fishy players.

I had the buy-in limits wrong on the big $25/$50 NL game at Trump. I was there last night and its $1500 min/NO max.
