nhl picks 10/17
dont have my YTD calculated yet, and am working on a ghetto website to track all of this information in one place (as well as continuing to post here) - anyway, i'm still on any home team -1.5 goals at +175 or better, last night cashed with the Wild (+220) and the Canucks (+190) - extremely small sample size thusfar, but i'm going to run with it - hopefully i can get all the info up on my site soon
tonight's bets: NYR -1.5 (+220) Det -1.5 (+180)

any reason you go from +175 and up?? just curious..

no, there's no reason - i did a few of these games a week ago and put my limit at +200 and up, then took all of last week's games and saw a few that were just under +200 that came in, so i decided to set it just a bit lower
i'm sure the stat rats would throw up in their mouths, call me unWong-like, square, fish, etc. by using a system with absolutely no statistical background... but that's why it's my system, enjoy [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

The Rangers on the puck line were a great play tonite (I saw it at +230). Florida hadn't score more than 3 in a game (if I recall what I looked at correctly) and the Rangers have been playing unbelievably well at home, plus their supposed #2 goalie is actually world class (should be #1) and has played great. Unfortunately this stupid thing I am involved in called a "job" kept me from posting about it and getting my wager in. And of course they are up 4-0 as I type this.
