Re: bluff gets lucky, but how\'s my line?
I can't tell what is going on with the flop action but you need to raise more on the turn if you are going to try that-probably 50.
Nice river. |

Re: bluff gets lucky, but how\'s my line?
Sorry, probably should have added this, but I had notes on him saying he doesn't like to semi-bluff with draws, so i couldn't put him on clubs. I was hoping for either a club,6,or 8 to hit. The club hit and i c/r. I think 50 looks more like a bluff then the roughly 30 i bet, but that's just me.

Re: bluff gets lucky, but how\'s my line?
the way your opponent is playing so slowly in a big pot it seems like he is a donk with an overpair. your opponent is not folding for 22 more in a $100 pot if he has any club or top pair or better.
a raise to 50 does not look like a bluff here because that play is not comon at this level. what it looks like is a SMALL turned flush that doesnt want to give odds to a lone high club to see the river (which your bet does). this is a nice juicy pot to bluff at and you got your card, but if you are going to make your move you have to commit big. |
