Default sidekick or blackberry?

I want to get either a Sidekick or a blackberry... obviously I want it for messenger and email...along with the phone service. I presently have cingular so if I got the blackberry I wouldn't have to switch carriers...but my boyfriend has a blackberry and thinks the sidekick will be better for what I want it for...does anyone have either? Which would you suggest? Thanks

I think you should post more pics of yourself before anyone answers.

Can't do that....you might decide to use it as your avatar again and get me in trouble

I'll chime in here with my thoughts.

I have a Berry for work, which is more of a digital leash than anything else. Its made for corporate email and it does that job well.

I've never used a Sidekick but it seems its serviceable for email, not necessarily for work email with filing, folders upon folders, etc, but definitely for the casual email user.
It seems like it's strength is in instant messaging...which the berry has but its pretty meh.

I think what would be helpful are thoughts from any sidekick users.

You're lucky. I seem to have deleted it.

The blackberry's are more wide spread and have a greater chance for survival/enhancement.

You have to be careful when choosing these devices, then tend to turn out to be paperweights more often then not.

This is where you post pictures of yourself in appreciation.

Do you really need to contact Frank with greater frequency?

Simple answer: Sidekick is a low duty, consumer version of a blackberry. for heavy email usage, blackberry's are better.
