Default Line check with a nice draw

$100 max $.5/$1 NL 6max

Relavant stacks
Hero - $120
Villain - Barely covers

2 early limpers, Hero raises to $4 in CO with A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Button calls, BB calls, UTG calls.
Flop ($15ish) 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
checked to Hero who checks

(I should have potted it, not sure what I was thinking if at all)
Button bets $10
Folded to Hero who raises to $45.
Villain goes all in for $62 more
Hero calls
Turn 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
River 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Not to thrilled about my line. I think I should have led the flop but also did not mind concealing a big draw. Once button bets, it makes my flush draw pretty transparent if I smooth call, so I opted for a large raise. After villain pushes, I have commit myself and there is no way I can fold.

I am not sure I am thinking about this correctly. Anyone have a better line here?

Hrmm, I've never really been fond of min-raising PF. I think it would be better to limp behind, and then bet somewhere between half and full pot to disguise your hand.

I think I bet/3-bet all-in on the flop. c/r-ing is not good- puts you OOP for the rest of the hand, takes away potential callers. I prefer to either bet/3-bet or c/c the flop. Once you hit, get it in anyway possible...sucks if you lost to a full house.

Sorry about that. Blined are .50c $1. I raised it 4xBB and I don't think I would limp this in 6 max in the CO normally with this hand, at least not here. Table conditions were such that raising to $4 was much better than limping.

i generally like to bet after I raise pre-flop. I would have made a 3/4 to PSB at least on the flop and then tried to get most of his money in on the turn

Yeh, bet, 3bet all in is much, much better (assuming I get raised)
