Without going into the hand itself, a few notes about posting:
1. Never post the result. You will only get result-orientated answers. 2. Never hint at the result in the title. 3. ALWAYS use the Hand Convertor |

Re: is there any way of knowing or avoiding this
Well, it's up to you... some people will never draw to the flush on a pair board. Depending on the pot size and whos in the pot I do sometimes. The river bet isn't bad I guess... at these levels I think you still get called by the trip 4's or even top pair. At higher stakes I think your only getting called when you behind.

Re: is there any way of knowing or avoiding this
flop bet is horrible. you should NOT attempt these semi-bluffs with flushdraws out of position in a 4 way pot. play draws straight-forward in multiway pots. fold w/o pot odds, call with odds.
turn is ok, though I'd fold this on higher stakes. (reason being ppl will call you with much worse hands even when it is evident their hand is beaten at this lvl) reason why you should fold the turn you're gettin just about right odds to chase the flush, but it is not the NUT flush, meaning someone could be drawing to a higher flush and you lose your stack when that happens. moreover the board is paired, so you may be drawing dead against a fullhouse already. AVOID DRAWING TO NON-NUT HANDS out of position. it is much harder to get paid off when you bet out on river flush card. people will automatically give you credit for flush and seldom call with worse hands, while better hands will call/raise you. I hope that helped. gl and welcome to 2+2, keep your mind open to any criticizms/suggestions. it will only help you |

Re: is there any way of knowing or avoiding this
Fold the turn is easiest. You have only 20%chance to hit the flush and you dont know if it is an out or an oppurtunity to hang yourself.
It migth be correct to semibluff the flop in some cases, but it doesnt look like any of them is the type of player that fold too soon. |
