Default Worth it to pick him up?

I have an empty roster spot that is being filled by a 3rd TE/3rd QB and B. Edwards was just released due to his Staph Infection. Is he worth a pick up now for when he is available in 4-5 weeks or should I just forget about it? I am a little thin in the WR department as I have J. Porter, P. Burress, B. Finneran, and R. Willaims.

Sure, what the hell. I'm not sure you'll ever have occasion to start him, and he prob has zero trade value, but that would make him more valuable than a 3rd te or qb for sure.

Yeah, I see no reason to have 3 TE's.

Yeah I already released the 3rd TE to pick up G. Jones from JAX. However would this still be a smart move If i was releasing a WR for him, say a B. Finneran or G. Lewis? or should I stick with one of those guys? B. Griese is my 2nd QB so it might not be smart to release that 3rd QB just yet. So do you still think its a good idea if I release one of the WR instead. I usaully start a RB at the WR/RB spot and so far every week my starting WR's have been J. Porter and P. Burress (excpet for the bye weeks).
